Office Politics

Oops... din update my blog for a few months liao. haha sometimes when i surf to my blog... simply dunno what to blog about.

nothing special happened the past few months... just that i have left the air force....now no longer SGT Stone ler. now is Mr Stone. hehehe

had a 3 months break. everyday wake up in the afternoon... watch TV, rot, play mahjong. and at the blink of the eye.... my 3 months holiday ended.. and in case you were wondering... i already secured a job before i left the force. so started work as promised.

am now working in an "old folks home". why an old folks home? cos i realised a lot of my other colleagues are above 50 yo catagory de... and fav past time during lunch is.... play chinese chess at stone table.... which happens to be just beside my smoking location. haha

last time with airforce only receive orders from ppl... nowadays tell ppl what to do :P (quite shiok actually) but rather stress too.

i now calls myself a professional Meeter. why? cos most of my time is now spent in meetings. also dunno why one week can have sooooooooo many meetings. meetings are very energy draining. its a very very strainous task to keep awake~ haha

People didn't know that my primary job with airforce then was to handle office politics. LOL so when some new colleagues tried to pull a fast one on me at my new job. it sorta got back fired. and i think i have made my points known. dun meddle with me unnecessarily. cos i will not be that considerate to keep things to myself, and not find another chance to trap u during management meetings.

Friends commented that i shouldn't be so "Kwai Lan" afterall i am still new. but then my theory is that.... if i do not make my points known now.. and just bear the things in silence... how am i gonna control them in future?

Yup.. i am totally different at work. haha i might not be the easiest person to work with, but i sure am the most efficient person to get things done. ok lar. to be fair. i am also not as much of a bastard as i described :P. Colleagues whom i did not directly clashes with initially.. adores me :P

what else.... oh ya. at my company year end dinner.. i won myself a Sony DVD player with HD upscaling~ yeah~ but erm... hehe its also that exact same one that i bought for my room a few months back. haha neitherless i am still grateful. hehehe afterall.. i'm among the ONLY 2 person from my whole department, who won anything in the lucky draw. haha the other colleague got a electric fan :P

today is 30th Oct 2009. more importantly, its the birthday of a special friend.

one of the first few person i chatted with when i first joined the channel. and its also because of this person's friendly, easy going nature, that made me stick around the channel till today.

more importantly, he's a very important mahjong kahki. hehe

on this special day, would like to wish him a very happy birthday. and congrates that he have stepped into the Fabulous Forties. hehehehe

KLANG Bak Kut Teh

was walking to Furniture Mall at beach road the other day, and stumbled upon this coffeeshop that sells Bah Kut Teh. and the crowd there waiting for the food caught my attention. and i stopped on my tracks to have a look. oh..... selling KLANG Bah Kut Teh. and judging by the crowd, some purposely bring whole family there to eat, we decided to just settle our lunch there. and it seem like its being recommended by many newspaper and magazines...



There are actually 2 type of Bah Kut Teh. one is the hokkien Type, which the soup is made of pepper.

another type is, i think, the teochew type. which the soup is herbal.. the store below sells the Herbal version de...

made a few orders and the food takes rather long to come.....

Braised egg. seriously.... it took a lot of courage to eat this egg... it look like its soaked in dunno simi gravy. which looks a bit disgusting.

The Bah Kut Teh arrived at our table still boiling..... when u order, u can actually choose if you wan the Pork Rib type.... or the mixed type...

Of cos.... all must go down with White Rice!


Ordered this Lime Juice from the drinks stall..

and erm.... this really is acquired taste... personally i dun like.
and i din really finish the stuffs. especially hated the Tau Pok.. and do note that EVERYTHING tasted herbal.

haha but i understand that some people actually likes this type of Bah Kut Teh. (based on the crowd, and the fact that the next table is toking about how great the Bah Kut Teh is...)

If you like these type of Herbal Bah Kut Teh, then you might wanna pop by for a visit. its located opposite the hotel in beach road. i think is Park Royal hotel if i am not wrong...

Weird Fetishes

long time never post ler.

was toking to OB the other day about Fetishes. and were exchanging feedbacks on the topic. haha

In the dicktionary: Fetishes are sexual attraction to objects or body parts not conventionally viewed as being sexual in nature.

many people have many fetishes, most common are those who are into feets, socks, rape, exibitionist, muscle, chubs, underwear.....

i myself have fetishes for underwear. which is very common. :P

but what are those weird weird fetishes you have heard about?

i once toked to a "hi & bye" friend, who shared his fetish with the group of us....

he like to look for very decent, mature guys with silver manes in their 50s. invite them over to his house.... and he will pass them a chinese textbook.... ask him to sit on a chair... and read the textbook content to him.

he on the other hand... like to lie on the bed naked... watch the poor guy unable to take his eyes off him...while reading the textbook content..... and after a while the friend will JO/ finger himself to the mature guy. all the while wanting the mature guy to not leave the chair and continue reading.

Stones and Stoner

over the years been in IRC for so long ler. today suddenly see a nick call stones come online. i actually thought just coincidence, someone happens to have a similar nick.

then later realise that he is a friend whom i have known since the 1st yr i started in BW. i tot he was playing a prank on me. so i merely said "Not funny". But when he pvted me in MSN, and tell me that he sometimes use that nick in other channel, today forgot to change back..... i was frankily bit unhappy that he chose to use "Stones"

i mean... if we didn't know each other, i would see that as a coincidence. so no issue.. but the thing is that, knowing me for 3 years ler. and still choose to call yourself "Stones". i totally see it as a problem lor.

no doubt Stones and Stoner are very different. but yet it is sufficient for people to start "Rehi" me thinking i have DCed. when i was trying to explain and double confirm if its a prank, i got the answer "Hello Stone and Stoner is different lo~ My stats and your stats different what~ Not trying to immitate you lar"

that PISS me off.. so i replied: "Fine! if you insist, i let u have the nick, i change!"

and he replied:" i Don't Gian The Nick"

i dun go to other channel calling myself "KongBakPau", or "TauSarPau". because i know people will mistaken me for you. even if i change a nick, i will definately not call a nick that will make people mistaken me for my friend.

And all i was trying to do was to explain the situation.... Before u answer until so Buay Song... please spare a thought for other people. Friends dun do these type of things to each other de.

The last thing i need, is that i receive an sms from someone saying: "I thought u say u go play mahjong? how cum online in other channel?"
