IT Expert

hmmm...... i am the IT guy for the people in my department, in a way, its part of my jobscope.

earlier this week, i receive a call from another department's boss personal assistance, requesting for help. As the boss just shifted office, and after shifting, his printer do not work. according to her, she have had 2 people went to the office to have a look, and none figured out what was wrong, nothing wrong with the settings. my boss recommended the PA to call me at my office... DAMN...

so i drag myself out of the comfort of my chair, and went all the way to that department... and i solved the problem within 2 mins of trouble shooting.... went out of the office and told the PA, "Okie, settled. can print already!"

The PA was stunned that i was able to solve her problem in less than 5 mins, and started saying that the previous guy spent about 30 mins each trying to solve the problem. and asked me what exactly was the problem?

i merely replied with a smile: "next time..... 1stly check if the power plug is plugged in....and that the electricity is switched ON " and left the office...

WHAT THE HELL WAS THE 2 SO-CALLED IT EXPERT DOING?!?!?!
