Turned Table

work has been hectic, and have been drawn into dreamyland the moment i reach home lately.

something happened this week at work which surprise me.

one of my male superior have been having "period" lately. everything he does seems to be going against my colleagues and myself. we are so pissed and fustrated. he has all along been a "not so popular" figure among all of us. however, i have always remained neutral towards him.

he is the sort of person who.... although sitting just in the next cubicle, would send out an email to all management, highlighting the small little things which he think that we are not doing enough. in short, my colleague said that he send out the emails, to let the management knows that he can do a better job than us. think most of my colleagues have kenna before.

And if we did anything that are of good, it would suddenly appears in his mail, hinting that HE was the one who is "responsible" for the right things that we have done...

it was only until earlier this week that he sent out a mail, highlighting that the way i do things differs from his, and he was urging my management to install some disciplinary action. the moment i read the mail.... i was on leave, one of my colleague called me when i was playing mahjong! and i was thinking,.... again? however, when i went back to office the next day and read his mail, all hell broke loose.

the bunch of us, got together, held a meeting, (i roped in some of the bosses too ) and started a discussion. i usually can't be bothered with what he does, as long as he is not stepping on my tails. however i felt that this is the final straw.

we held a meeting, highlight to management how impossible it was for us to work under him anymore. and i acutally came out with a chart showing how unproductive his methods were! (i'm a bitch i know :P)

Management usually don't know what we are doing, and management usually get the impression from the emails that they have been reading. management got quite a nasty impression about us from that arsehole's email. thus it was only until that meeting that the management knows exactly what the bunch of us have been doing. i even openly declared that i will be changing the way we do certain things in future, my boss gave us clearance :P

in that 3 hour meeting.... somehow, i turned every single one of them against that arsehole. ( wow... i really can talk!) haha

Think that arsehole felt threaten, and can no longer do what ever he wants, he later sent out an apology email to everyone. everyone remain quite sceptical about him. think he was quite surprised that we are able to turn the situation around. and that we are actually fighting against him.

morale of the story: don't do unreasonable things behind ppl's back. People put up with unreasonable demands, doesn't mean they are uncapable to fight back. just that they can't be bothered to do so. do not push your luck too far.
